Junior Superintendent of Construction

Assist in the review of drawings, specifications, and contract documents to retrieve data for the construction materials and procedures of construction projects. Inspect on-site construction materials used by contractors for small or single trade construction projects. Assist in the inspection of a portion of large State building construction projects to assure contractor adherence to specifications, contracts and work standards.

Salary Range:
From $45617 to $58374 Annually
Minimum Qualification
Current Office of General Services employee with permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service as a Junior Superintendent of Construction and interested in reassignment. OR Associate degree in Engineering, Architectural Technology or Construction Technology. OR Two years of experience assisting in the management of the building construction phase for medium to large construction projects from the inception to completion in the areas of cost estimating, document coordination review, adherence to building codes, construction planning/scheduling contract document reading and interpretation, and construction inspection.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
